It’s snowing outside as I type this, but I know in my heart of hearts that by that first full week of May we will be experiencing Spring. Our Summer hours will kick in that Tuesday, May 7th. That means that we will be open Saturdays starting May 11th! Our new hours are as follows:
Tues/Thurs/Fri 12-7
Sat 11-5
Are you an experienced bike mechanic that wants to volunteer at Full Cycle? If so, give us a heads up and let us know that you want to be a part of our Team Spring Fix Up. Right now is a crucial push for getting bikes together for us and we need help!

Thanks to Tom Johnson and Minnesota Business magazine for publishing an article about us as part of their ‘Helping Creatively’ series. Read it here:

So, this amazing thing happened. Some kind folks from Minneapolis (First&First LLC who own and operate Aria) contacted us to be a part of ‘Playing the Building’ which is an art installation by the awesome artist David Byrne.
You should absolutely go check out the installation which is up from Nov. 5- Dec. 4 at Aria (you may remember it as a beautiful building in the Warehouse District that housed Theatre de la Jeune Lune).
You should also consider buying tickets to the VIP opening event on Nov. 5. There will be a way to support Full Cycle and a way to be in the same room as David Byrne.

We have officially switched over to our Winter staffing and, therefore, our Winter hours. Gone are the days of Saturdays with the big garage door open and the bird’s nest in our wall…
We will absolutely be open all Winter long, just with more limited hours. Our paid internships and free bike appointments keep rolling all year, so we will be here in the shop learning, practicing, and ready to fix your bike or sell you a high quality new one!
Check out this website dedicated to documenting non-profits who are working to increase opportunity in the U.S. Full Cycle was featured in a recent blog post.

This year Full Cycle will be a beneficiary of this year’s Thrivent Tour, a bicycle tour organized by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Learn more about the ride (you can participate!) and all the good work that Thrivent does here. We hear it’s a blast!
Thank you so much to Thrivent for all your support!
Full Cycle was named Best of Bike Repair in Minnesota Monthly’s 2011 “Best of the Twin Cities 2011” issue (November 2011).
Homeless youth in the state — whether in shelters, couch hopping, or on the streets — struggle to get enough to eat. Food shelves and meal programs offer help, but some youth have to use their own survival skills to get by.
